Ron Frohock Speaking at the Virtual PPDM Petroleum Data Workshop

We are excited to announce that Ron Frohock, our Chief Technology Officer, will be speaking at the Virtual Professional Petroleum Data Management (PPDM) Petroleum Data Workshop on June 9, 2020.

This event has moved to a virtual event, with a condensed agenda. It features several presentations running from 8am until 12:30pm, followed by time for additional questions and networking. The theme for this event is “Reducing Costs and Increasing Revenue with Data Maturity.” Ron’s presentation is entitled “Improving Oilfield Operations with Data Driven Decision and Machine Learning”.

Ron will be discussing the current stat of machine learning in oil and gas, common pitfalls of data management and maturity for machine learning, driving data decisions, real world use cases, and lessons learned. He will focus on uses of machine learning in the oilfield (specifically artificial lift) and suboptimal operation detection and well optimization. There will also be a question and answer time at the end.
